Summary:This article discusses one of the ways to treat cats with calicivirus infection. In the treatment, the antibacterial drug azitronite from the group of macrolides is used, the oral cavity and damaged parts are treated with antiseptic agents miramistite and vinylin. For the treatment of cats with calicivirus infection, there are no drugs with proven effectiveness. Supportive symptomatic treatment is given, and antibiotics are given to prevent secondary infection. Supportive care and plenty of fluids help cats fight off calicivirus. In this article, we will analyze a step-by-step method for treating cats.
