description The author characterizes the essence of active and interactive methods of teaching in a higher educational establishment; their developmental and correctional influence on the personal and professional development of a future specialist was ascertained during the theoretical and methodological analysis of modern psychological researches. The greatest attention is paid to the description of the complex of psychodiagnostic techniques that can be used to study separate components of the professional consciousness and their changes during the corrective-developmental influence of the psychological training of development and correction of students’ professional consciousness. The basic positions and ideas of psychological research, which formed the basis of the empirical study of the effectiveness of educational psychological training as a means of development and psychological correction ofprofessional consciousness of future specialists, are indicated. The author describes the program of educational psychological training and its development and correctional possibilities. The results of the analysis of the consequences of implementation of educational professional training of development and correction of professional consciousness into professional training are presented in the paper. It was established that as a result of the educational psychological training firstly, there were changes in the professional motivation of students (the dominant type of professional motivation and motivation of professional psychological care, focused on self-development, appeared); secondly, there were changes in the direction of the personality (the dominant type of orientation appeared, the humanist type of orientation was clearly expressed, there was a shift in the type of orientation of existential personalities to humanistic), and thirdly, there were changes in the self-assessment of future psychologists (it became adequate in most students); fourth, 91.5% of students improved general positive self-attitude.
