Description
Summary:The relationship between contact farmers characteristics and their implementation accuracy of maize and cassava technology was the focus of this study. Multi -stage random sampling procedure was used to select blocks, cells, and contact farmers of Oyo State Agricultural Development Programme. A validated questionnaire was administered on a sample of 18 extension agents, 144 contact farmers and 144 non -contact farmers from  Ibadan/lbarapa and Ogbomosho zones of Oyo State. Descriptive and inferential statistics were used to analyse collected data. The results show that none of the CFs characteristics is significantly related to their implementation accuracy. This means that characteristics of contact farmers do not influence their implementation accuracy.
