description Managers of new business era such as supporting organizations in knowledge driven business units including Technology Incubators always think about problems during organizing for innovation. They want to know whether we can organize for innovation or not? And how organizing and managing paradox can be managed? This study aimed to identify factors affecting the mental patterns of managers in relation to the organizing and innovation paradox. This is a kind of mental cognition and the new classification of the literature in relation to the specific characteristics of Technology Incubators. Technology Incubator can design more effective organizational structure and management processes and build their managerial and organizational capabilities if they can understand and explain this paradox. This study is based on literature review, interviews, and finding manager's opinions, evaluate and sum up the dialogues and ultimately selecting Q-sample phrases (42 statements identified) and sorting the results. The results showed that there are three mental patterns among these managers which are respectively: Technological, Structural, and Pragmatic mental pattern. Factors identified in the technological paradigm are more important than any other mental patterns.
