description The manuscript of which we give below large extracts is a notebook of seven sheets of 15 cm by 19 cm where are noted two incomplete homilies in the Breton language. The back of the last sheet is blank. An exhaustive study of the linguistic characteristics of the manuscript is excluded in the context of this short publication. We shall therefore confine ourselves to a description of the main features allowing this text to be situated in time and space. From the title of this article, we have linked it to the Breton of Vannes. This attribution will not be discussed here: its relevance will emerge from all the comparisons that will be made below with the contemporary texts originating from the bishopric of Vannes.
