description In this article, We selected 102 earthquakes above MS2.0 that occurred in Anhui region from 2010 to 2018, and re-located them using the simple locating method, Hyposat, and Locsat localization program with the South China model and AH2015 model respectively. The positioning residuals and depths of earthquakes are obtained and the application effects on earthquake location of the two models in Anhui region are analyzed and discussed. The inversion depths of mobile stations were used for fine analysis. The results show that the AH2015 model is more suitable than the South China model for seismic localization in Anhui area because the residuals are smaller and the localization depth is more consistent with the real depth.
