Long wavelengths are essential in applications such as medical diagnostics, infrared measurements, and free-space optical communications. The p-doped TlBr/TlBrxCl1-x QD structure is studied where the gain is increased under doping. The spectrum of TlBr/TlBr0.9Cl0.1 QD structure is examined and has two peaks and a dip absorption at high carrier density. |
