At the same time researchers point out about ten monastic names by which the Andzhatan
Lama was known According to the opinion of Prof. Ma Dazheng to whom belongs the
earliest publication on this topic, the monastic name of Andzhatan Lama was Lubsandzin.
The authoritative researcher’s argument was accepted by others and did not raise doubts.
However, further research revealed that this name belongs to another famous Buddhist
teacher. This article provides for the first time some information about the biography of
Andzhatan Lama, discovered by the author during research expeditions and on the basis of
some written sources. |
