description Systemic research has been done on the thesis of far field sound source localization combined characteristics of the speech signal in this paper. An improved MUSIC algorithm is proposed based on the traditional MUSIC algorithm in far-field of microphone array signal model, and experiments in simulated environment is carried out. Simulation results show that the improved algorithm has higher spatial identification rate and strong noise immunity, it can estimate the adjacent sound source signals with small SNR effectively, so the effectiveness and high efficiency of the improved algorithm are proved.
