Even when aware of the royal prohibition on representing each genre in the coliseum that was not allowed, some promoters asked the monarch for a license, as did Giuseppe Coletta, of the <em>Fiorentini</em>, who wanted to represent <em>Federico II</em>, by Comella, in prose, in the <em>San Carlo</em>.</span></p>
