Summary:This paper presents a bibliographical review and reflections on the notarial testimony, a public instrument drafted by the notary of notes, analyzing the concept and structure of this evidence, its contribution to the access to justice, as well as the classification of the minutes according to the doctrine, with emphasis on four types of notarial acts in kind: minutes of mere perception; records of notoriety; rectification minutes; and letter of sentence.
