Summary: | This article proposes to analyse from a transnational approach a specific modality of literary almanac appeared in Italia e Spagna during the Early Modern Age: the serio-faceto. The main aim is to demonstrate the common elements between two traditions which have been analysed separately but have never been the subject of such a comparative study. To this end, a study will be carried out to highlight the particularities of the burlesque discourses that seek to discredit astrology, especially in its judiciary aspect. It will then be demonstrated how part of this critique is taken up by certain authors, who succeed in developing an almanac that combines usefulness and amusement.
