Summary: | Objective: This study aimed to investigate relationship between blood production factors and transfusion sustainability. Methods: A self-administered questionnaire was employed to gather data from randomly selected participants in blood banks. Partial least squares structural equation modeling tool was used in the analysis. Results: The findings indicated that blood production factors have a considerable and positive influence on the transfusion sustainability of blood banks in Uganda. Conclusion: The enhancement of transfusion sustainability is supported by blood production factors. Consequently, it is advisable to prioritize blood production to ensure adequacy and timely supply of blood products. |
