| Summary: | The article describes the use of the Alterozoom hardware and software system in the educational process. The Alterozoom hardware and software system is built as a system of personal information systems interacting via a cloud service. Personal information systems are a set of tools that allow the user to organise a personal information space, which along with multimedia documents, organised into knowledge bases, documents include interfaces of smart things, which are combined into complex personal Internet of Things systems. Personal information systems can be used for educational purposes in the form of personal learning environments which contain both virtual objects (user documents) and images of real objects in an integrated form. Integration of virtual and real objects allows organizing educational materials that provide a visual (interactive) representation of the studied subjects of the natural science cycle in conjunction with the study of information technology, which makes a meaningful representation of real world objects and processes possible.
