Description
Summary:Sometimes in the real world, decision makers escalate on their commitment and decisions, despite of the negative feedbacks. Several factors and classifications have been proposed for this organizational phenomenon, but they only considered classical perspectives and do not represented comprehensive outlook. In this study, we designed a questionnaire which contains the related factors and then by analyzing the obtained data and using the confirmatory factor analysis, the assumptions given were examined. So, we recognized 7 causes of this phenomenon such as: psychological, social, environmental, and project factors, fear and concerns, organizational supervision, and agent. It should be noted that, we were not able to elicit experimental evidence for agent factor. Finally, we proposed the limitations of this study and represented some suggestions for future studies.
