description | The supported metal/oxide systems consisting of Au and Ag metal clusters, deposited on the surface of TiO2 and MoO3 in high vacuum, have been studied by means of X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction. The minor details differentiating Au and Ag, as well as TiO2 and MoO3 are determined by the differences in electronic structure of Au and Ag, TiO2 and MoO3 , as well as their transformation at the contact. |
