Description
Summary:This paper presents comparison of four selected tracking control algorithms. The simulated plant is a PMSM drive with additional well-balanced inertia load and a point mass, which is moving radially. The controller has no information about position of the point mass. Moreover, friction is present in the plant, but it is unmodelled in the controller. PID, classical sliding mode, quasi-sliding mode and super-twisting controllers are compared. The paper ends with the table of advantages and disadvantages of investigated control algorithms.
