This Institution strengthened international relations between both countries and enabled Spanish researchers, artists and intellectuals of the time, to be in contact with the scientific, artistic and cultural advances in France and Europe. The aim of this article is solely to highlight and try to recover a part (the origins) of the political, cultural and educational history of these institutions. |
