description The paper analyzed characteristics of voltage variation of phase voltage and neutral point of single-phase grounding fault and two-phase grounding fault happened with different neutral-grounding ways. It put forward fault identification methods of whole distribution network combining with fault characteristics of three-phase and two-phase short circuit fault. The simulation result showed that the methods have advantages such as less analog parameters, simple judgement rules and quicker calculation with practical value.
