GIS ANALYSIS OF THE EVOLUTION OF SETTLEMENT REPUBLICS OF THE NORTH CAUCASUS REPUBLICS
The article describes the features of the evolution of the settlement network of the North Caucasus in different historical stages. The basic advantages of the use of geographic information technologies in the study of the formation of a network of settlements.
