description Limited use of emotionally-valued lexis of speaking children with autism spectrum disorders indicates the lack of understanding and assimilation of the moral norms of society, because words determine representations of objects and phenomena. Adequate understanding of emotionally-valued words and correct use of them in children with ASD are crucial for adaptation and socialization in the conditions of modern social environment. Authors disclose the features of the work on the formation of emotionally-valued lexis in senior preschoolers with ASD on the basis of a training experiment conducted in Center for Curative Pedagogics. The methods, tricks and conditions of correctional and habilitation work with 14 children at each stage are described in detail.
