| Summary: | Gingival recession is a non-inflamatory periodontal disease with tooth root exposure. The main role in gingival recession pathogenesis play anatomical cortical bone defects. Orthodontic treatment of adult patients without periodontal health consideration has high risk of gingival recession in post-treatment period. We propose treatment and diagnostic algorithm for patients with gingival recession and dento-alveolar abnormalities, which consents to minimize further progressing of periodontal desease. |
