Description
Summary:A second-order sliding mode control (SOSMC) with a fractional module using adaptive fuzzy controller is developed for an active power filter (APF). A second-order sliding surface using a fractional module which can decrease the discontinuities and chattering is designed to make the system work stably and simplify the design process. In addition, a fuzzy logic control is utilized to estimate the parameter uncertainties. Simulation and experimental discussion illustrated that the designed fractional SOSMC with adaptive fuzzy controller is valid in satisfactorily eliminating harmonic, showing good robustness and stability compared with an integer order one.
