Description
Summary:Research on online radicalization in the digital age is impossible without tools to analyze social media data automatically. But the possibilities of creating prototypes for data mining of social networks are limited due to objective reasons associated with data collection and processing. To solve any data mining task, knowledge of the subject area is an absolute must. Accordingly, knowledge of the subject area must first be collected, presented in the form of ontological models that machines can process and formalize. The article presents a socio-topological model of an online radicalization high-level ontology consisting of four main modules. Each module identifies measurable indicators of radicalization and how to calculate their values. In our approach to creating a high-level ontology of the subject area, we want to draw the attention of researchers to the fact that in the future, such ontologies are an effective tool at the first stage of research in the study of radicalization.
