She was operated on under fluoroscopic guidance. The needle was removed successfully.</p> <p>Conclusion</p> <p>Because of the risk of migration of the needle into the thoracic cavity and adjacent vital organs, patients with a needle in their breast tissue must be treated surgically.</p>
