description The analysis presented in this text stems from the qualitative and quantitative study developed by the authors an aims, firstly, to analyze the deployment process of Multifunction Resource Rooms (MRR) and its types across the country from 2005-2011. The documentary research, the use of statistical techniques (chi-square test and correspondence analysis) and software resources were methodological procedures used to collect and document data analysis. The results point to a state policy which investment has been steady but variable, especially from the year 2009. During this period we have the approval and ratification of the Special Education Policy in Perspective of Inclusive Education which has as one of its pillars ensuring access and retention of people with disabilities, global developmental disorders and high ability/gifted in regular school. Additionally, the data allow the identification of the Northeast as one in which there are more MRR implemented in the period, as well as the Midwest and North and those in the process of implementation is still shy considering its population.
