Ornithogalum insulare (Hyacinthaceae): A new species from the Cretan area (S. Aegean, Greece)
Ornithogalum insulare collected from three offshore islets of Crete is described as a species new to science. It is illustrated and compared with other related species of the genus. Information regarding its chromosome number (2n = 44) and karyotype is also provided
