description | Safeguard of cultural heritage is the natural following of the visual and ontological identification of territorial emergences. Italy is an extremely rich and articulated territory in which local communities had a basic role in the direct knowledge, identification, documentation and preservation practices of its punctual and diffuse values. Since Internet got institutions nearer to people, a new model of intervention has been affirming. It is based on the idea of knowledge as an open and inclusive system: such a system should be able to be easily updated and consulted as well as to recall everyone to take an active part in the documentation and valorisation of the res publica. |
