The ability of the purple sulfur bacteria Thiocapsa sp. to use acetate and pyruvate in the anoxygenic photosyntetical process was studied. We assume that Thiocapsa sp. able to carry photoorganoheterotrophic way of life, because of investigated bacteria grew well on the medium with organic components...
