Summary:Background. In Ukraine, seven species of Borrelia burgdorferi s.l. with pathogenic potential are known. Therefore, the annual analysis of the incidence of Lyme di­sease remains relevant. The purpose was to analyze the epidemiological and epizootic features of Lyme disease in 2019 in Ukraine. Materials and methods. State industry statistical reports were used. The packages R-3.5.1 and Past 3.17 were used for statistical analysis. Results. In 2019, the peak of the disease shifted to July. The share of sick children under 4 years of age decreased 3.5 times and the share of school-age children decreased 5.67 times. The number of sick men has increased. The percentage of people with severe disease has doubled to 1.87 %. Outside Ukraine, patients became infected in 103 cases in 21 countries. The algorithm of actions after detection of a tick is resulted. Conclusions. In 2019, 4482 cases of Lyme disease were registered (10.62 per 100 thousand population). The intensive indicator for Ukraine is exceeded in 10 oblasts and Kyiv. The proportion of morbidity of urban residents is gradually decreasing.
