Description
Summary:This article analyzes mobility strategies implemented by the households of Bogota in response to the Covid-19 crisis. Based on thirty-six family chronicles developed by a group of university students from Bogota, this study examines the relationship between the structure and functioning of households and the construction of mobility in the capital during the period marked by the first lockdowns in the city (first half of 2020). The analysis shows that household responses do not depend solely on the situation and on individual decisions, but are part of collective arrangements within households. These decisions fluctuate between the imposition of entrenched traditional roles and agreements based on dialogue where these roles appear more flexible. This research is part of the MODURAL Programme, which aims to analyze sustainable mobility practices in Lima and Bogota.
