description In our daily lives we frequently come across with circumstances that we think of certain but in fact are not. Prediction of these circumstances in a systematic manner is possible only after making some assumptions. In a variety of social, economic and technical events uncertainty and therefore complexity is always present. It is possible to analyze those uncertainties within the context of the fuzzy logic theory developed by Zadeh. In this study we first summarize the fundamentals of the fuzzy logic theory and then give an application of the theory to a flight problem.
