| Summary: | This paper presents the experimental results of surface quality after turning polymeric materials pretreated with surfactants. It was experimentally proved that preparative treatment of work material with surfactants provides upgrading of the surface after turning. This is evidenced by a roughness decrease from twofold to four and a half-fold, with a minimum roughness achieved at cutting depth equal to 1,00 – 1,15 from surfactant penetration depth into the material. |
