Description
Summary:Taking into consideration the fact that the concept of function is formalized in the 9th grade of elementary schooling, the research which is in part reported within this text, had as a goal identifying the possibilities and difficulties of implementation within an inclusive perspective, of a set of eight problem questions, involving the foundational ideas of function and elaborated to  legitimize the differences between neurotypical and autistic students in the 8th grade, in the topic of mobilizing and consolidating these ideas. The research. of qualitative nature and sustained on the Conceptual Fields Theory, ascertained that the foundational ideas of variable, dependence and regularity were mobilized by all of the participants, whilst there were difficulties with generalization, pointing to a necessity to pick these concepts up again before the formalization of the concept of function.
