Description
Summary:The ordinary small rivers of western France flow in a multitude of geographical contexts and have been deeply marked by the planning and agricultural policies of recent decades. In the context of this article, the socio-ecological dynamics of two small tributaries of the Loire were analyzed on the scale of three functional sectors in order to characterize their landscape trajectories between 1950 and 2016 and to identify the factors involved in these dynamics. This geohistorical knowledge seems to us essential to guide the development policies of the territories of these small rivers.
