Summary:We studied early pregnancy complications in pregnancies following in vitro fertilization. The trial included 140 women who were divided into groups according to the presence of latent iron deficiency. In patients with latent iron deficiency frequency of threatened miscarriage and early reproductive loss, as well as the frequency of bacterial vaginosis was significantly higher. In addition, the clinical pregnancy rate was significantly lower in women with latent iron deficiency.
