description In recent years, many universities and faculties emerged in our country as an achievement of academic world. As one of those faculties "Islamic Studies' Faculty of Aksaray University and the happenings during the process of its foundation have been the subject of this article asa notation for history. The emergence of academic institutions cause several impacts both in social and scientific spheres. But after a certain time these influences are forgotten and disappear in the darkness of the past. Aksaray University, Faculty of ıslamic Studies would like to be distinct and distinguished, thats why this founding process has been the main topic of the faculty journal,at least to remember its memory all the time. Naturally untold things here are much more then told. But the intention is to remember those people who contributed to the process and to obtain prayers for them. With our best wishes, may it bring divine gift and fruitfulness.
