Summary:The aim of this investigation is to analyze the literature, in Portuguese, which has been published about the interface between history of mathematics and teaching, especially scientific texts from peer-reviewed journals. Thus, we intend to contribute to an understanding of the recurrent points of investigations on this interface, as well as to detect possible gaps in the field. To do so, we resorted to systematic literature research, carried out on the Portal de Periódicos CAPES. As a result, 19 articles related to the subject were selected. This survey shows that the topic has been increasingly addressed, but there are still gaps to be explained, especially in relation to the pedagogical actions planned and organized within educational institutions.
