In light of the water scarcity experienced by the whole world, and Iraq is among them, it is necessary to study how to preserve the available water wealth, whether surface or underground. Experts say that wars in the future will be water wars, especially since Iraq suffers from the problem of the sources of its rivers, most of which are from outside its borders. This is why it is necessary to study how to preserve every drop of water available and use it optimally. In light of this aspect, it was found that agriculture goes to it from the amount of water 80%, and in line with the development reached by the countries of the world through the use of irrigation techniques suitable for the area of cultivated agricultural crops Taking into account the crops' water requirements.
