| Summary: | The current paper is the result of a field survey to investigate methods for enhancing cash-raising methods for cooperatives in Iran. Because of limited resources and funds, according to Human Development Index (HDI) the four provinces of Isfahan, Qazvin, Mazandaran and Azerbaijan were selected. The sampling method is random and the sampling tool is a questionnaire and Cochran formula was used to determine sample volume. An open questionnaire and interviews with managers of cooperatives and experts of cooperation sector was used to classify the current issues and methods of cash-raising and then the final questionnaire with 51 questions was designed according to Likert spectrum.
The results showed that cooperatives are being governed by traditional models and in regard of cash-raising, they lack methods, organizations and flexibility that are required and by the current trend it would not be possible to achieve the goal of obtaining 25% of the nation’s economy. |
