Description
Summary:The text analyses the part played by the censure in Brazil, during the sixties and the seventies — the plays, music, television, books and the movies, mainly, as emphasizes this article, were condemned and forbidden by the military government, owing to the fear of the entrance of the communism in the nation. The author makes, also, a short explanation of the political situation — the dictatorship, the doctrine of national security, the perfomance of the Church. Nevertheless, only with the New Republic, in 1985, the censure was over.
