description The neurological complications are frequent in patients with hematological syndromes such as: myeloproliferative diseases, malignant diseases of lymphoid cells, plasmocytic diseases, transfusion biology and therapy, bone marrow and stem cell transplantation, disorders of the platelet and vessel wall, disorders of coagulation and thrombosis, hypoproliferative anemias, hemoglobinopathies, megaloblastic anemias, hemolytic anemias and acute blood loss, aplastic anemia, myelodysplasia and related bone marrow syndrome. We proposed a synthetic review in two parts of the neurological complications in hemato-oncologic diseases that are present not only in relation with hematological disease itself, but in relation with systemic and intrathecal chemotherapy, radiotherapy and stem cell transplantation during the course and follow-up of the hemato-oncologic patient.
