| Summary: | Economic independence or access to self-generated income is considered as one of the major means of empowerment of women around the world. Women can’t be ignored while devising various policies for rural and socio-economic development. So, treating women with equality of opportunities is very much required. Very few studies are available related to employment and empowerment of women in the rural of Vietnam. This study has been designed mainly to focus on the extent of participation in income generating activities and constraints that are experienced by rural women in their empowerment. A case study of Tay Ninh province. |
