The intraocular pressure, visual acuity, central anterior chamber depth and the change of anterior chamber angle were observed and recorded. The time of following-up was 6 months. <p>RESULTS:After 6 months' follow-up, the mean postoperative intraocular pressure was 14.3±4.1mmHg, which significantly decreased compared with that of preoperative(22.4±3.1mmHg, <i>P</i><0.05). The mean postoperative central anterior chamber depth was 3.04±0.34mm, which significantly increased compared with that of preoperative(1.49±0.31mm, <i>P</i><0.05). Visual acuity was increased in all patients. The range of angle closure ≤180°in 36 patients preoperative were widened postoperative.<p>CONCLUSION: The treatment of cataract with primary angle-closure glaucoma by phacoemulsification combined with goniosynechialysis is safe and effective. |
