Summary: | A simple computational model is established to simulate the spark gap discharge phase. The proposed computational approach is based on Rompe- Weizel model for the resistive phase of the spark discharge where the plasma resistance decreases dramatically and rapidly during this phase converting the gap from a non-conducting (off) state to a conducting (on) state . Results obtained from this model are compared with some available published data and acceptable agreements are obtained |
