Summary: | In the present article we will interpret the works of two colombian artists who work the topic of the museum from different poetics and operations: in his project El espacio del lugar, el lugar del espacio Nicolás Consuegra, carries out the institutional migracion from the yuxtaposition of the Museum of Art of the National University and the space NC-Arte, proposing an experience on the impossibility in the displacement and a reflection on the exhibition space from the site-specific genre. The second, Jaime Iregui, in Monumentos privados takes again the topic of the collection and the museography deposit to make visible a repository of objects that were donated in the half of 20th century to the Museum of Antioquia, putting in scene the question on the origin about the conformation of collections. Through the intervention of the museographic space and the appropriation of specific collecting strategies, this two works relocate the inherited ways in which the archive has been understood as a foundational place of knowledge. |
