Summary: | This paper discusses the subjectivity process of young people and new forms of knowledge production. Examines the creation and the development of a workshop, with students, in a public school in the city of Niteroi, Rio de Janeiro. The image (picture, fanzine, fotolog, etc.) is used, in the workshop, as a strategy of communication to create a space for reflection and construction of meaning with students. Uses research and intervention to build knowledge about their relantionship with school today. This work was developed at Universidade Federal Fluminense - Faculdade de Educação and has support from FAPERJ and CNPq through grants for scientific initiation.
