Summary: | This study aimed at identifying the training needs in the teaching field necessary for the Holy Koran Teaches in the High school stage in Riyadh city from the Principals' and teachers' points of view. In order to achieve this, a questionnaire that consists of , 31 item, has been designed and distributed to five fields. They are , planning, execution, education technologies, stage administration and evaluation, .
This study has been applied on a random sample from the schools principals whose number is , 55, and teachers whose number is , 101, . From the most important results of the study is that: the average of all answers of the sample to the items of the training needs ranged from , large, and , moderate, .
The choice of the suitable teaching methods comes at the first stage from the training needs of the Holy Qur'an teachers related to the planning and then the methods of error modification in the loud reading related to the execution. In the field of education technologies, there is a need to design the suitable teaching aids to teach Holy Koran. As about the Stage Administration, there was a need to the methods of determining the difficulties of teaching the Holy Koran and the methods to solve them.
In the field of evaluation, there is a need to diagnose the points of strength and weaken in students. Also, from the results is that there is a differences of statistical significance in all dimensions of the study at the level , 0.00, among the opinions of the teachers and principals in the schools concerning the needs of the school's principals as there is no effect of the qualification, the experience or the number of the training courses on the answers of the individuals in the sample.
From the most important recommendations of the study is the regular development of the educational programs in colleges that take charge of preparing teaches in order to cope with the contemporary development in addition to preparing training programs to the Holy Koran teachers in the high school stage according to the needs that the study assured. |
