Summary:The first aim of this essay is to highlight the intellectual debt that Vanini taken over Machiavelli., showing thought the study of a few fragments of his work how he overlooks the interpretations swayed by the Counter-Reformation ideology. Furthermore it was pointed out how interprets Machiavelli’s thought affected by the British cultural contest where he lived between 1612 and 1614, with substantial references to the theatre of Shakespeare and Marlowe. The speech draws attention to the way how Vanini prefers an indirect explanation respect to the Machiavelli’s thought, it is veiled in his works the certainty how religion is used as an instrument for the ideological manipulation of consciences by established order
