description This Cross Sectional research studied the epidemiology of premature cantities in the Hamadan Med. Univ. Students. The number of students being studied was 1332 (680 being male and 652, female), among whom 142  (10.6%) were suffering from premature Cantities. The male cases were 88 (62%) and the female ones (38%), therefore, the prevalence due to sex was 12.9% in males & 8.2% in female. Age of onset of premature cantities in male cases was in range between 15-25 years with an average of 20.9 years and in female cases was 13-25 years with an average of 18.7 years. From genitical point of view, a study on blood group and family history of premature cantities showed that the prevalence of ABO and Rh blood groups in these individual was the same as the general population and in 54.9% of all students, there existed a history of premature cantities in their first degree relatives. On a background of hair and skin, autoinmune, thyroidgland, cardiovascular and peripheral arteries diseases, anemia, etc. and drug that in some sources are mentioned to be in relation to premature cantities, our study has shown no particular  cases. Others factors have also been considered in our study, and so you may refer to the main article for their results and further information.
